Piemonte Bonarda DOC from 100% Bonarda, a variety the family says came from the hills near Turin in the early 1800s. 12.5% alcohol, about 2,500 bottles; ageing potential 2 years.
Tasting notes
Intense ruby red with marked violet reflections. Intense, fruity nose of berries and sweet violet. Fresh and lively on the palate, elegant and harmonious, with a persistent fruity aftertaste.
