Rabino Barbera d'Alba

Barbera d'Alba DOC from 100% Barbera, aged 18 months in large French oak barrels, 12.5% alcohol. About 3,000 bottles are made; ageing potential 7 years.

Tasting notes

Intense ruby with violet reflections. Aromas of coffee, spice such as pink pepper and red juniper, then cherry and plum. Structured and robust, with balanced acidity and a long, refined finish recalling wood and vanilla.

Pairs well with

Meat sauces and important main courses.

Vinification
