San Ponzio
By Poderi Gianni Gagliardo, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
San Ponzio is sourced from the San Ponzio hill in the commune of Monticello d'Alba, in the Roero, where sandy-calcareous soil that still has good structure gives a wine that is powerful yet gentle in character.
Tasting notes
Shows dark notes and multilayered complexity, with an unmistakable character dominated by extreme evolution in the glass.
