Piazzo Comm. Armando Valente

Piazzo's traditional Barolo, blended from grapes grown in the Sottocastello di Novello, Cerviano-Merli and Corini-Pallaretta vineyards in Novello. Named after Valente, the previous owner of the vineyards Armando purchased before Barolo gained DOCG status.

Tasting notes

Colour: ruby red with garnet highlights. Nose: fruity notes with slightly balsamic and spicy floral scents. Taste: dry and warm, structured, with enveloping tannins and lingering aromatic persistence, with delicate mineral undertones.

Pairs well with

Red meat, aged cheeses; also good with seafood, fish soup, shellfish and hamburger
