A Barbera d'Alba from vineyards on both banks of the Tanaro, blending grapes from the Langhe hills of Alba with those of the Roero hills in Guarene.
Tasting notes
Colour: an intense burgundy with ruby highlights. Nose: fresh and intense fruit, with slight spicy notes that may develop with ageing. Taste: good acidity, never excessive, with increasing persistence and an immediate, juicy sensation.
Pairs well with
Charcuterie and cheese board, first courses; also good with seafood, pizza, spicy fusion cuisine and hamburger
