Red
Pajorè
By Piazzo Comm. Armando, Alba, Piemonte, Italy
First produced in 2019, 40 years after the winery's first Barbaresco, this single-vineyard wine comes from the Pajorè farmhouse plot in Treiso, named after the Peirolero family who once farmed it.
Tasting notes
Colour: intense ruby red with garnet-shaded nuances. Nose: intense and complex, with floral notes of rose and slightly spicy, vinous scents, balsamic and elegant. Taste: a fruity entry becoming dry and characteristically tannic, well-structured with a long, rewarding finish.
Pairs well with
Game, aged cheeses; also good with grilled meat
