Piazzo Comm. Armando Superiore Mugiot

One of Piazzo's first single-vineyard wines, made since the late 1970s from the Mugiot plot, named after the nickname given to Armando Piazzo's grandfather and later to Armando himself.

Tasting notes

Colour: ruby red with garnet nuances. Nose: complex, with predominant fruity and spicy notes of jam, blackberry, green pepper and vanilla, with toasted notes and wilted rose on the finish. Taste: warm, enveloping and smooth, with lingering aromatic persistence.

Pairs well with

Aged cheeses, charcuterie and cheese board, first courses; also good with spicy fusion cuisine, poke, pizza, sushi and roast chicken
