Nebbiolo d'Alba from the Rivere vineyard in Castagnito (2.10 ha), matured in 55 hl Slavonian oak. 14% vol.

Tasting notes

Brilliant red tending to garnet. Intense, ethereal bouquet with notes of red berry fruit and spice. Full, soft, well balanced and refined, with elegant tannins. A wine of great structure and longevity. 14% vol.

Pairs well with

Perfect with red meat, lamb and cheeses; excellent with rich first courses such as risotto and egg pasta (tajarin and agnolotti). A perfect after-dinner companion.

Destemming and crushing. Traditional fermentation at controlled temperature for about 10-15 days, with pump-overs to extract the polyphenolic substances. Matured in large 55 hl Slavonian oak casks, then aged in steel until bottling.
