Tasting notes

Brilliant garnet red, with orange reflections with ageing. Intense bouquet with notes of rose petals and spice that tend towards tobacco over the years. Elegant on the palate, dry and austere, harmonious and inviting, with soft, pleasant tannins. A wine of great structure and great longevity. 14% vol.

Pairs well with

Perfect with rich Piedmontese cooking. Ideal with red meat, roasts, lamb and game, truffle dishes and aged cheeses. A pleasant companion at the end of a meal.

Destemming and crushing. Traditional fermentation at controlled temperature for about 10-15 days, with pump-overs to extract the polyphenolic substances. Matured in large Slavonian oak casks of 10 to 52 hl, then aged in steel until bottling.
