Vallegrande Riserva Viti Vecchie
By Ca' del Baio, Barbaresco, Piemonte, Italy
Launched with the 2018 vintage from the estate's oldest vineyards surrounding the winery, this Riserva is the densest, most tannic expression of the Grasso family's winemaking, a tribute to Treiso itself.
Tasting notes
Garnet-red colour. Intense, festive bouquet of blood orange, violet, blackberry, rhubarb and incense. Dry, velvety and harmonious, closing with a warm, appropriately tannic finish.
Pairs well with
Roast or terrine meats, mature or fondue cheeses, and meat and vegetable soups.
