Red
R.L.
By Ca' del Baio, Barbaresco, Piemonte, Italy
R.L. is a fresh, easy-drinking Nebbiolo from younger vineyards, selected across several plots to revive an old estate tradition.
Tasting notes
Garnet red with ruby tinges. Fragrant nose of dried flowers, geranium and light raspberry fruit. Dry, warm and soft on the palate, slightly tannic and very easy-drinking.
Pairs well with
Fresh cold cuts, slightly mature cheeses, Italian pasta with ragù, and simple red meat dishes like hamburgers or beef carpaccio.
