White
Luna d'Agosto
By Ca' del Baio, Barbaresco, Piemonte, Italy
Luna d'Agosto is made from grapes harvested early, in the first weeks of September, for a fresh, fruity Chardonnay that recalls summer.
Tasting notes
Straw yellow with greenish highlights. Delicately floral and fruity nose with citrus and exotic fruit notes. Dry, cool and long on the palate, with a slightly mineral aftertaste.
Pairs well with
Excellent as an aperitif; meat and vegetable hors-d'oeuvres, grilled and baked fish, fresh cheeses.
