Red
Paolina
By Ca' del Baio, Barbaresco, Piemonte, Italy
Paolina blends fruit from several Treiso vineyards into a fresh, soft expression of Barbera.
Tasting notes
Deep ruby red with purplish highlights. Vinous, intensely fruity nose of redcurrant and raspberry. Fresh and vibrant on the palate, with a long, rich, smooth flavour.
Pairs well with
Flavourful Piedmontese dishes, from mixed boiled meats to bagna cauda; cooked and raw cold cuts, stewed meats, and medium-mature fatty cheeses.
