Fré
By Ca' del Baio, Barbaresco, Piemonte, Italy
The family's long-held passion for Riesling, produced for the first time in Ca' del Baio's history from a cool, breezy plot in Ferrere.
Tasting notes
Straw yellow with greenish highlights. Intense, aromatic nose of pineapple and mango with a hint of hydrocarbon. Dry, delicate and elegant on the palate, with well-balanced acid and alcohol.
Pairs well with
Light starters, oven-baked fish, snails and fresh cheese.
