Red
Lodoli
By Ca' del Baio, Barbaresco, Piemonte, Italy
Lodoli, grown in the Vallegrande and Marcarini crus of Treiso, is Ca' del Baio's everyday Dolcetto, a symbol of simplicity.
Tasting notes
Ruby red with purplish highlights. Intense, vinous nose with delicate cherry, wild strawberry and blackberry notes. Dry on the palate, with good balance, acidity, and an almondy finish.
Pairs well with
Everyday Piedmontese fare, from pasta to roast poultry and fries; a natural match for cheese and cold meats at any time of day.
