Tenuta La Meridiana Rivaia

A long-aged blend matured in French oak, combining complexity and firm tannins with notable elegance and aging potential.

Tasting notes

Brick red in colour, with primary fruit giving way to complex tertiary aromas from extended aging: blond tobacco, leather and cured hide, alongside forest floor and subtle green hints. Full-bodied on the palate, with firm yet velvety tannins from long maturation and a long, harmonious finish.

Pairs well with

Typical: meat-based main courses, game. Top: braised beef. Unusual: eggplant parmigiana.

After bottling, the wine undergoes a further 36 months of bottle aging before release. Alcohol 14/14.5% vol.
