L'Antagonista

By Tenuta La Meridiana, Monferrato, Piemonte, Italy

Tenuta La Meridiana L'Antagonista

A very fresh interpretation of pure Nebbiolo: fresh, fruity, with present but elegant, ripe tannins that are ready to drink.

Tasting notes

Light brick-red in colour, with expressive balsamic notes of eucalyptus and mint, complemented by ripe red berry aromas. Fresh and approachable on the palate, with soft, rounded tannins and a return of fruity character.

Pairs well with

Typical: aperitifs, meat-based pasta dishes, rich or oily fish. Top: cured meats. Unusual: lake fish.
