Groppella

A wine with a very intense, delicate bouquet, aged for about 10 months in 225-liter French oak barriques with weekly batonnage. Groppella is a vineyard bought by the Bergaglio family in the 1980s.
Tasting notes
Deep, bright straw yellow color. The bouquet is very intense and delicate, with pleasant notes of apricot and grapefruit, and vanilla and mineral hints. The palate is warm and full-bodied, persistent and savory, revealing an undertone of flint and sweet vanilla.
Pairs well with
Perfect with rich, flavorful starters, sushi, fish soups and grilled meats.

- Vinification
- As with the Etichetta Nera, this wine comes from a cold maceration before fermentation, which takes place in small wooden vats. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine ages in 225-liter French oak barriques for about 10 months, with weekly batonnage.
