White
Derthona
By La Chiara, Gavi, Piemonte, Italy
Timorasso is a native grape variety found mainly in the Colli Tortonesi wine region of south-eastern Piemonte. Derthona is the ancient Roman name for Tortona.
Tasting notes
White wine with an intense golden yellow color. In its early years in bottle, notes of acacia and hawthorn blossom and peach emerge, along with spun sugar, acacia and honey notes that, after 3 to 4 years in bottle, give way to hydrocarbon and mineral notes.
