Sulla Stella
By Hilberg Pasquero, Roero, Piemonte, Italy
A cherry-scented Barbera from the Colle della Stella vineyard, its micro-parcels vinified separately and matured on the lees in neutral barrels for a couple of years.
Tasting notes
A lively, crisp and fruity Barbera that hides its power behind an intriguing cherry nose, from the Colle della Stella, Priocca's first settled hill, facing Barbaresco across the Tanaro.
Pairs well with
Anchovies in green sauce, or polenta with spezzatino stew.
