White
Scarpantà
By Hilberg Pasquero, Roero, Piemonte, Italy
A single-variety Timorasso from a partner grower's vineyard in the Colli Tortonesi, fermented in steel and matured with batonnage in rotating ceramic (Clayver) tanks.
Tasting notes
A white born from friendship, rooted in Piedmont but inspired by France and the restraint of great German whites; balance through restraint rather than excess.
Pairs well with
Seafood and white meat.
