Bricco Gatti
By Hilberg Pasquero, Roero, Piemonte, Italy
A late-picked, long-aged Barbera from the Bricco Gatti hill where the cellar stands, matured in old wood for two to three years.
Tasting notes
A plot selection focused on ripeness and quiet intensity, from vines on grey marl soil; a generous, fruity nose, a long mineral finish and a texture that caresses more than it grips.
Pairs well with
Rich dishes such as braised veal cheek.

Bottled under a waning moon and rested a further six months before release.
