Red
Mon Seij
By Hilberg Pasquero, Roero, Piemonte, Italy
A structured, long-lived Barbera from the century-old Monselli plot, matured about three years on the lees in wood.
Tasting notes
A deep, structured Barbera that gains roundness with time, expressing the grape's dark, richly fresh side; robust body and lively acidity that sometimes call for longer ageing in wood.
Pairs well with
Meat cannelloni, cheese gnocchi, pork with herbs, venison with blueberry sauce, or creamy mushroom risotto.
