Red
Mon Surí
By Hilberg Pasquero, Roero, Piemonte, Italy
A single-plot Nebbiolo from vines at least 40 years old on very steep, south-facing slopes, aged a minimum of two years in wood and a further year in bottle before release.
Tasting notes
A rich, intense Nebbiolo with soft tannins, from old vines exposed to the sun from morning to evening; a reserve made to be enjoyed today but built to age.
Pairs well with
Grilled red meats and mushrooms, and dishes with umami depth.
