G.D. Vajra Rosabella

A dry rosé de saignée mainly from Nebbiolo with small amounts of Barbera and Dolcetto, first produced between 2004 and 2007 from young vines around the winery.

Tasting notes

Vibrant aromas of citrus, strawberry, raspberry and peach, with delicate lemon blossom and citrus zest, harmoniously supported by light white-flower notes and closing on a subtle white pepper touch. Fresh, persistent palate with an elegant texture and a long, refined finish.

Vinification
About half of the Nebbiolo is vinified as a rosé de saignée with a brief cold maceration, the rest gently pressed; no malolactic fermentation, to keep the wine's energy and sapidity. A short time on the lees before bottling. First produced between 2004 and 2007.
