Bricco delle Viole

G.D. Vajra Bricco delle Viole

Barolo from one of the appellation's historic crus, the highest and closest to the Alps, farmed with vines planted in 1931, 1949 and 1968 that shaped the estate's style.

Tasting notes

Vibrant, intense garnet red. Deep, noble, magnetic nose of violet, macerated dog rose and ripe strawberry interwoven with red and black cherry, blueberry, mint, white truffle, star anise and wild fennel, evolving toward volcanic stone and a hint of tamarind. Monumental yet elegant palate, violet and cherry fused with a dark mineral thread, orange and fennel touches and a subtle saline note; refined tannins and an endless finish.
