G.D. Vajra Ravera

Barolo from the most prestigious vineyard in the commune of Novello, its vines rooted in a complex mix of marl, sandstone and clay in a natural south-facing amphitheater.

Tasting notes

Surprisingly balanced for its youth. Bouquet of morello cherry, blood orange, marzipan and star anise, with cedar wood, violet, tobacco leaf and earthy, ferrous, wet-clay and licorice nuances. Deep palate with broad, finely woven tannins, juicy red fruit, sweet spice, herbs and a mineral-saline streak; sapid, extremely persistent finish.
