Red
Langhe Nebbiolo
By G.D. Vajra, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
The estate's entry-level Nebbiolo, from young vineyards on calcareous soils in the Tortonian and Serravallian valleys, made for early, fresh drinking.
Tasting notes
Bright garnet colour. Nose of wild strawberry, red cherry and raspberry with hints of goji berry, delicate florals and light spice. Crisp, dynamic palate with juicy red fruit set in a well-defined tannic structure, leading to a persistent, floral, fragrant, “gourmand” finish.
