Pétracine

By G.D. Vajra, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy

G.D. Vajra Pétracine

One of the oldest Riesling plantings in Piemonte (1984-85); Aldo Vaira was a pioneer of the variety in the region, and this cuvée comes from the Fossati and Bricco Bertone vineyards.

Tasting notes

Vibrant, precise bouquet led by pear and white peach with bright citrus notes, touches of lemon zest and a distinct stony minerality. Taut, linear palate with a vibrant mineral spine and sublime freshness; pear, peach and citrus carry through to a long, persistent finish.
