Red
Kyè
By G.D. Vajra, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
Freisa, Nebbiolo's closest genetic relative, vinified dry and still since 1989 from two estate vineyards planted in 1980 and 1989.
Tasting notes
Rich, elaborate nose of rose petal, wild strawberry, cherry in spirit and spice. Fine tannins wrapped in blueberry, violet and dog rose, white pepper and clove, combining depth with energy.
