Red
Il Soprano
By Fratelli Aresca, Monferrato, Piemonte, Italy
Nebbiolo d'Alba is made 100% from Nebbiolo grapes grown on the hills of Piemonte, particularly between Alba and the Langhe. It ages six months in wood; the nose, soft and perfumed at first, becomes ethereal over time with notes of red fruit and spice, while the dry palate shows notes of violet, raspberry and almond.
Tasting notes
Broad, ethereal nose with notes of violet, red fruit and spice. The palate has good structure with notes of red fruit and a smooth tannic finish.
Pairs well with
Ideal with red meat, braised dishes and cheese.
