Red
Costareto
By Fratelli Aresca, Monferrato, Piemonte, Italy
Barolo is known as the king of wines and the wine of kings, among the most famous Piemonte wines in the world. Aresca's Barolo follows a regulation requiring long maceration on the skins and maturation in large wooden barrels, an elegant wine with broad, intense perfumes and great structure, able to age for years but already enjoyable within months of release.
Tasting notes
Intense red with garnet highlights. Broad, enveloping and complex perfume with notes of red fruit accompanied by spiced and balsamic notes. The palate is harmonious, enveloping, with silky tannins.
Pairs well with
Ideal with game and braised dishes. Excellent as a meditation wine.
