San Carlo is a Barolo DOCG from the Langhe made from Nebbiolo grapes, intended for long aging.
Tasting notes
Typically garnet red color. Complex and elegant aromas ranging from ripe red fruit to spice, with toasted and heady 'goudron' notes. Delicately tannic, austere, full and velvety on the palate.
Pairs well with
This great bottle is the ideal pairing for important first courses, roasts, game and aged cheeses, but can also be an excellent meditation wine at the end of a meal.
