A Monferrato DOC Nebbiolo aged for one year in traditional concrete tanks after a long maceration and fermentation at controlled temperature, with an aging potential of about 3 years from harvest.
Tasting notes
Compared to other prestigious terroirs where Nebbiolo grows, Monferrato DOC Nebbiolo has a more intense color, a well structured body and a fine, persistent bouquet, rich in notes of rose, violet and a light spiciness with hints of clove. Elegant on the palate with refined tannins.
Pairs well with
Ideal with red and white meats, richly seasoned dishes. Pairs with elaborate dishes. Also recommended as a wine by the glass.
