Barbaresco from the Starderi vineyard in Neive at 262 m, 100% Nebbiolo, aged in French oak casks and barriques. 13.5% alcohol.
Tasting notes
Typical garnet red. Characteristic Nebbiolo aromas with delicate notes of dried violet and jam mixed with spice. Good structure, slightly rough but not overpowering tannins, clean finish.
Pairs well with
Pasta with roast sauce, Nebbiolo risotto, game and braises; lamb, beef and stews; rich savoury sauces including mushrooms; aged and blue cheeses.

- Alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled steel. 70% of the wine matures three years in 10-20 hl French oak casks, the other 30% about two years in new Allier French oak barriques, then blended and bottled. At least 8 months in bottle. Yield 50 quintals per hectare.
