Red
Dolcetto d'Alba
By Collina Serragrilli, Barbaresco, Piemonte, Italy
Dolcetto d'Alba from three Neive vineyards, a young, fresh wine.
Tasting notes
Ruby red leaning to purple, clear. Intense, very persistent vinous aroma with red small fruit, plum and a brief spiciness; the aftertaste is sometimes slightly bitter. Fresh, savoury and tannic with good structure.
Pairs well with
Spicy or garlic-rich dishes, Asian cuisine, pork and pork cold cuts, lamb chops, fresh and medium-aged cheese.
