Ages in big and medium oak barrels (20-140 hl) for a year, then a further six months in bottle before release.
Tasting notes
Dark ruby red with purple highlights. Nose of leather, black liquorice, coffee and blackberry. Warm, full-bodied palate where fruit blends with soft tannins and acidity, finishing long and savoury.
Pairs well with
Pasta, meat dishes, fresh and medium-aged cheeses.
