Red
Nebbiolo d'Alba
By Tenuta Olim Bauda, Nizza, Piemonte, Italy
A traditional-style Nebbiolo from Castellinaldo in the Roero, with fine, silky tannins and suited to ageing; Dino Bertolino went to the Roero to find the right vineyard.
Tasting notes
Typical aroma of rose, raspberry and small red fruits that develops well with bottle age. Pale ruby, typical of Nebbiolo. Elegant, with fine, well-defined tannins, good acidity and savouriness giving balance and freshness.
Pairs well with
Agnolotti del plin, grilled fillet or a fondue with white truffle.
