Sweet
Moscato Passito
By Tenuta Olim Bauda, Nizza, Piemonte, Italy
A dessert wine made only in excellent vintages, one of the first the siblings made after taking over the estate.
Tasting notes
Fine, intense, pleasant bouquet recalling dried fruit such as fig and apricot and candied fruit such as orange peel, with sweet notes of icing sugar and honey. Deep amber yellow. Very persistent in the mouth without becoming cloying, thanks to a good balance of acidity and residual sugar.
Pairs well with
Meliga biscuits, baked stuffed peaches or Krumiri; also blue cheeses such as natural gorgonzola, Stilton or Roquefort.
