Pelassa Sterlotti

A single-vineyard Roero Riserva DOCG from the Sterlotti MGA in Montà d'Alba, 100% Nebbiolo, aged about 12 months in Austrian oak. The grapes come from a sandy/gravelly-soil vineyard, giving the wine structure and elegant verticality.

Vinification
Traditional vinification with spontaneous fermentation in wooden vats for about 15 days at 26°C. Destemmed and soft-crushed, the must is pumped over with the dèlestage system. After malolactic fermentation, aged in Austrian oak barrels for approximately 12 months with regular top-ups and tasting tests.
