A single-vineyard Barolo DOCG from the historic San Lorenzo Cru in Verduno, 100% Nebbiolo, aged 4 years (2 in wood). Robert Parker has rated vintages up to 95 pts (2016) and James Suckling up to 93 pts (2019).
Tasting notes
Velvety tannins, beautifully softened and elegant; expresses the refinement typical of wines from the municipality of Verduno, with hints of spice and rose petals. Rich on the palate but extremely refined, with an excellent ageing capacity if stored carefully.
Pairs well with
Ideal with fondue, first courses with game sauces, red meats and blue-veined cheeses; excellent with truffle. Best decanted and served at 16-18°C.

- Vinification
- Traditional vinification with fermentation for about 15-20 days at 26°C after destemming and soft crushing; the must is pumped over with the dèlastage system. After malolactic fermentation, aged in Slavonian and French oak tonneaux with weekly top-ups.
