Red
Sot
By Pelassa, Roero, Piemonte, Italy
A Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC, 100% Nebbiolo, aged 24 months (12 in oak, 12 in bottle); Robert Parker rated the 2019 vintage 90 pts.
Tasting notes
Ruby red colour with garnet-tending nuances. A delicate, full bouquet with floral (rose), fruity (small forest berries, raspberries and blueberries) notes and a pleasant spiciness in the background. Dry, soft and pleasantly harmonious flavour, with notable persistence, balance and typicity.
Pairs well with
A wine that accompanies the whole meal well, particularly rich and flavourful dishes such as fresh pasta and game. Delicious with cheese fondue.
