Rosé
Sot Rosè
By Pelassa, Roero, Piemonte, Italy
A rosé made from Nebbiolo, best enjoyed young; the producer recommends drinking it within 2-3 years of harvest to preserve its fragrance.
Tasting notes
Soft cherry red in colour, with a fresh and pleasant perfume of violets and fruit notes including raspberry and strawberry. Dry, delicate, elegant and well-structured on the palate, balanced and distinctly fresh, with fine tannins giving a long finish.
Pairs well with
An excellent aperitif, ideal with starters and pasta courses as well as all kinds of pizza; thanks to its softness and restrained but perceptible acidity, it is also delicious with fish, fresh cheeses and vegetable dishes.
