A Barolo DOCG from Monforte d'Alba made from 100% Nebbiolo, with an elegant and robust style from younger vines than the Ginestra cru wines.
Tasting notes
Typical garnet red. Bouquet packed with floral and fruity aromas. Elegant, robust body, nicely soft on the finish, with hints of cherries and wild berries.
Pairs well with
Red meats and game, sirloin steak, roast kid, mature hard cheeses.

- Vineyard planting
- Guyot counter-espalier training. Altitude 300 to 350 metres a.s.l., gradient 30 to 35%, vines approx. 22 to 25 years old, planting density 4000 plants per hectare, yield 6 to 6.5 tonnes per hectare.
- Vinification
- Grapes crushed and destemmed immediately after picking, then macerated for 15 to 20 days in special tanks for gradual extraction. Matured traditionally in oak casks and for a period in the bottle.
