A Barbera d'Alba DOC from Monforte d'Alba, 100% Barbera, fresh and easy drinking with cherry and raspberry notes.
Tasting notes
Dense ruby red with violet highlights, nose of dark violets and pressed red berried fruit. Fresh and well balanced on the palate, showing cherries and raspberries, with a soft, warm entry and a finish of good length.
Pairs well with
Hot hors d'oeuvres, pasta with rich sauces, stewed and boiled meat.

- Vineyard planting
- Guyot counter-espalier training. Altitude 300 to 400 metres a.s.l., gradient 30 to 35%, vines approx. 30 to 35 years old, planting density 4000 plants per hectare, yield 6 to 6.5 tonnes per hectare.
- Vinification
- Grapes crushed and destemmed immediately after picking, macerated for 12 to 14 days for optimum colour extraction. Matured after the first rackings, bottled generally late in the summer following the vintage.
