A Monferrato Rosso DOC from the Antico Podere del Sant'Uffizio estate in Cioccaro di Penango, Asti, made from 100% Merlot.
Tasting notes
Intense ruby red with purple reflections. Intense and persistent, notes of red fruit with a slight and elegant note of green pepper. Supple and round in the mouth, with elegant toasty, spicy and vanilla notes.

- Vineyard planting
- Guyot counter-espalier training. Altitude 300 to 350 metres a.s.l., gradient 25 to 30%, vines approx. 20 years old, planting density 5000 plants per hectare, yield 7 tonnes per hectare.
- Vinification
- Destemming and crushing of the clusters, fermentation and maceration with the skins in temperature controlled steel tanks for 15 to 20 days. Matured after several rackings, bottled generally in the autumn following the harvest.
