A Barolo DOCG from the historic Ginestra cru in Monforte d'Alba, made from 100% Nebbiolo and aged in oak casks with further ageing in bottle.
Tasting notes
Dark garnet red. Elegant, round nose with lingering fruity, spicy, balsamic and mineral undertones. Strong, warm body with powerful aromas and well balanced flavours. Long, intense finish, with a cellar life extending to over fifteen years.
Pairs well with
Roast veal, rump steak cooked in Barolo wine, mature cheeses.

- Guyot counter-espalier training. Altitude 300 to 350 metres a.s.l., gradient 30 to 35%, vines approx. 30 to 35 years old, planting density 4000 plants per hectare, yield 6 tonnes per hectare.
- Vinification
- Grapes crushed and destemmed immediately after picking, then macerated for 18 to 25 days in special tanks for gradual extraction. Matured traditionally in oak casks and for a period in the bottle.
