Vecchie Vigne is Paitin's old-vine Barbaresco Riserva from the Sorì Paitin plot in Serraboella, made from a selezione massale planted by Secondo Pasquero Elia between 1948 and 1953. Only one barrel is produced each year.

Producer's note on the 2015 vintage: an extremely dynamic expression of the Vecchie Vigne, robust and nervous, light in colour and immediate on the nose, showing the grit of the vintage on the palate.

- Guyot, planted 1953-1980; the plot is a selezione massale carried out by Secondo Pasquero Elia between 1948 and 1953. The name Vecchie Vigne was given in 1999 once the vines passed 45 years of age.
- Vinification
- Destemmed and pressed, then ferments and macerates 3 to 6 weeks in stainless steel, finishing maceration with the traditional submerged-cap technique. Aged around 30 months, or up to 3 full years when structure allows, in 25-50 hectolitre Slavonian and Austrian oak barrels about 15 years old. Only one barrel of this wine is produced per year.
