Red
Bonina
By Paitin, Barbaresco, Piemonte, Italy
Bonina revives Paitin's historic Freisa: Giuseppe Elia owned Freisa vines vinified by his son Secondo until 1968, and production resumed only in 2018, after 60 years, on the decision of Secondo's sons Giovanni and Silvano and his nephew Luca.
Tasting notes
This Langhe Freisa displays a vibrant ruby hue, offering an aromatic nose of wild berries, violets, and a hint of white pepper. The palate is fresh and lively, with firm tannins and a savory, persistent finish.
