Red
Serra
By Paitin, Barbaresco, Piemonte, Italy
Serra is the fresher, more delicate slope of Serraboella that Paitin has long dedicated to Barbera; the Serra name was first used on a label in 1985, and in recent years a small portion of the fruit also comes from the Rivoli area of Alba.
Tasting notes
This Barbera d'Alba displays a vibrant ruby color, exuding notes of ripe red cherry, plum, and a hint of spice. The palate is juicy and fresh with soft tannins and a lively acidity.
